Helper Modes
Humble offers two types of helpers in Slack:
Knowledge Helper
Bring your internal docs, policies, and answers to life inside Slack.
Modes:

How to Get Started
Install Humble in Slack
Click here to install ↗ and give permissions to your workspace.
Choose a Channel
Use or create a channel like #humble-assistant
to collaborate.
→ For private channels, type @Humble
and press Enter to invite.
Open Slack and Configure
Once installed, type /humble-settings
in any channel to configure assistants and helpers.
Start Asking!
Use commands or @mention Humble directly to get responses and insights.

Troubleshooting
🙋Humble isn't responding
- Check that it's been invited into the channel: type
@Humble
and press Enter. - Make sure you're using the right format (
@humble
or/humble-enrich
, etc.). - For private channels, you must manually invite Humble.
⚙️The command isn't working
- Use
/humble-help
to check the correct format. - Make sure there are no extra spaces or characters in the input.
👥It's not available to my teammates
- Make sure the assistant has been shared with your team using their Slack email.
- You can update access or re-share it via the Assistant Builder.
