Step-by-Step Setup Guide

Set up your DealFlow database
Use this Airtable template or duplicate the Notion version if preferred.
- Ensure the primary field is set to the company URL
- Add fields like:
Company Name
,Description
,Funding Raised
,Industry
,Investors
,Notes

Install the Humble Browser Extension
- Pin the extension to your toolbar for easy access

Connect your database to Humble
- Open the extension while on the company's website
- Click "Save to Airtable" or "Save to Notion"
- Select your DealFlow database and choose the correct table

Enable auto-fill enrichment
When you add a company, Humble will use AI to auto-populate:
- Description
- Industry
- Known Investors
- Total Funding
- Location

- In Airtable: Go to Share → Add collaborators and invite team emails

- When browsing, Humble flags if the company already exists in your CRM by the tab turning green
- Team members can comment or update the entry rather than creating duplicates

Troubleshooting & Common Questions
Humble isn't filling in some fields
Make sure the company website is accessible and that you've authorized Humble with your Airtable or Notion account.
We're still getting duplicate entries
Check that everyone is using the same Airtable base and that the primary field is Company URL
. This prevents duplicate records.
Should we just buy Affinity instead?
This setup works great for emerging funds who want full control, flexible structure, and no per-seat costs. You can upgrade later if needed.
